I think they are the best tacos in Pachuca, in relation to quality, price and service. Surely there will be others in flavor and in cost as well, however they are not expensive tacos taking into account what they serve you, the place and the time they take to serve. I have been coming to dine at these taquerias for years and unlike many places, they improve over time. The shepherd's slices are thick, coarse and with just the right touch of fat to give it flavor, the cactus tacos are spectacular and also the rib gringada is just right, the cheese they use is quality, you can feel it in every bite. Be careful with the light green sauce because it is fierce! Even if you are used to eating spicy food, by the way, horchata water is a must. Parking used to be free, now after half an hour you pay 5 pesos and from an hour onwards you pay 10 pesos. I highly recommend them, keep in mind that their service hours are long, so for dinner, after the party or to satisfy the craving they are always an option.
We felt so happy with the service and the food. Sebastian and his colleagues were personable and smart. We appreciated that they spoke English. We had a tasty vegetarian dinner. The price was right too!

Los molcajetes de per is the best food experience in Pachuca, and possibly all of Mexico! There are English speaking servers there who will happily help foreigners like myself find delicious Mexican comfort food. They have great vegetarian options that are clearly marked on the menu at affordable prices, and they are open late. What more could you ask for? Sebastian and his colleagues helped my parents have a fantastic meal just a few steps from their hotel. When we’re back in Pachuca, we’re coming back here!
